Jeff Moe, Founder – UMERANG

Jeff Moe doesn't just manage teams; he builds systems that win through unbreakable synergy. His teamwork DNA was forged on the diamond, powering the 1984 AAA state champion Columbia River High squad and syncing with teammates in the Junior College World Series. He learned that victory demands every player’s strength aligned. He applies this vision at St. Luke’s Health System, where he orchestrates clinicians, admins, and patients under life-critical stakes, turning cross-functional tension into seamless, high-stakes collaboration. That same synergy now drives UMERANG: student developers from Boise State and BYU-Idaho sprint in 12-week harmony, delivering Go dashboards and JSON Chrome extensions that reveal sustainability insights and dietary preference drivers. An Arizona State Communication graduate, Jeff founded UMERANG to scale that alignment—uniting consumers, retailers, and certifiers in real-time ethical action. His teams win by playing to strengths—on the field, in the hospital, in the marketplace. Now, with UMERANG, we’re inviting you to join the lineup.

Joseph Guimond, Advisor – UMERANG

Joseph Guimond has had the fortunate opportunity to have shared company with educators, builders, and thinkers. These experiences have shaped Joseph into the person he is today, a forward thinking, supportive individual who helps shape dreams into reality. Joseph begin working with his father at a very young age painting houses, building bar-b-q’s, and any other odd end jobs his father could find to make ends meet. This instilled a strong work ethic while instilling a burning desire to help others. This work experience served Joseph well as he migrated into the workforce operating in the restaurant industry, film, modeling, and finally banking. Throughout these experiences, Joseph continued to drive towards making the world a better place, one conversation at a time. This is what drives Joseph today.
